HELP US GET THE LADS RACING AGAIN

KARTS STOLEN

A pair of racing karts modified specially for use by injured troops have been stolen.

The Prokarts have hand controls so they can be operated by amputee veterans and were meant to be racing in Middlesborough this weekend.

Last 4 digits of engine numbers are – 8032 – 8028 – 3776 – 3784

We’re racing this weekend in the European Prokart Endurance Championship – 6hr race on Sun – so this has been a real low blow.

Bob Pope, ex-serviceman and owner of Teesside Karting has very generously loaned us 2 karts for Sunday’s race, so the lads will still be racing.

We need to replace the karts before the first race of the 2014 Inter Services Karting Championships on Sat 26th Apr and the first 24hr team endurance race of the year, the Isle of Man 24hr on Sat 3rd & Sun 4th May.

Please join us in helping to support our lads by forwarding this email to everyone you know and please, if you can, consider making a gift, however small.

Thank you.

MESSAGES OF SUPPORT

The theft of our karts has sparked off a massive reaction on Facebook and Twitter.

Over 61,000 people have read the message we posted on our Facebook page – over 1,480 people Shared it.

People on Twitter have Re-Tweeted messages all day yesterday – the same today.

The anger people have voiced is nothing in comparison to what the lads have been expressing.

This was a real kick in the balls but it’s not going to stop us from getting the lads racing. The lads WILL be racing – these thieves are not going to stop that. BRITISH BULLDOG BALLS!

You can help us make this happen.
